Forever Free celebrates the importance of the American River to regional communities and beyond. This themed, group exhibition and related events will showcase over twenty visual, performing and literary artists who are inspired by the American River Canyons. The spirit of the exhibit is to present two and three dimensional visual art along with interactive presentations such as poetry readings, musical performances and hands-on workshops. There will also be related outdoor events such as river outings, hikes and on-site lectures and readings. The exhibit opens at 7:00pm on Saturday, February 27 with “Art Flow”, a reception for all participating artists and water blessing by Rick Adams. Please see related calendar events "River Word Sacred" on March 5, "River Walk" on Friday, March 12. "River Action Arts" on Friday, March 19 and t
he Closing Reception on Friday, March 27. Exhibition and events are presented cooperatively by PlacerArts and Protect American River Canyons (PARC). Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays, Noon to 4 pm.

Hope to see you there.

Peace,
KURT
